Opportunity Summary We are looking to grow our consultant team, and are seeking bright, enthusiastic individuals with a competitive spirit. They need to be able to understand the full buying process in an e-commerce environment, and have a genuine customer centric mindset. Being a self-starter who is passionate about helping a company reach common goals is also critical. We are looking for someone who embraces challenges and will speak up and ask for more opportunities to learn and contribute. Specifically, her or she will support the department manager as well as upper management meeting and exceeding all Belami growth goals. Essential Job Functions: Maintain Individual Goals and Objectives as provided on a quarterly basis Assists customer with appropriate product selection and takes sales order Assist customers in making buying decisions by guiding customers through the website and order process effectively Process quotes, sales orders, and returns accurately and efficiently Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity Maintain current knowledge of lighting, home decor products to help customers make their selection Build rapport with customers by greeting them in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using procedures learned during new-hire training Ensure that customers understand product information, and are able to provide additional information to customers as needed Handles phone-in customers with pleasant telephone etiquette and courtesy Traits that lead to Success: Efficient use of internal email and other communication systems to keep current in job knowledge and department directives. Staying informed with changes in company business policies or practices, and Urgency to ensure a resolution for customer problems or internal items that need follow up Make solid effort to score well on product and customer service training Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills Strong analytical and decision making skills Ability to work weekend and overtime schedules; which may include various Holidays Core Competencies Ability to speak, read and write proficiently in English Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications as well as web-based applications Ability to navigate and operate dual computer monitors Ability to add and subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to calculate figures, such as, discounts and percentages Requires daily use of internal email and other communication systems Fully qualify the customer in order to build lasting relationships and to better serve them with their entire project Identify and answer customer questions to the customer's satisfaction Identify and resolve customer complaints and requests to the customer's satisfaction Finish all work assigned throughout the work day and week Prioritize tasks, balancing incoming call volume and personal follow up Master essential skills in working with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and the meeting of sales and revenue goals Flexibility to work at least one weekend shift per month Work overtime as required Manage attendance in accordance with the allotment of PTO provided by Belami Inc. Punctuality and consistent work attendance Ability to follow department policies and procedures regarding customer returns and replacements independent of constant supervision Ability to identify refinements to existing processes, procedures and best practices Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent required BA/BS Preferred Customer Service and Call Center Experience preferred Clear understanding of sales and customer service principles A strong grasp of Internet navigation Ability to multi-task in multiple electronic media Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Physical Demands & Work Environment Combination of frequent sitting and/or standing for longer periods of time Requires close vision with computer and paperwork, distant vision and color vision for product selection, peripheral vision and depth perception for safety in warehouse and building Requires ability to clearly hear conversations in person and by phone
