About the Opportunity The Operations Technician supports ELGi Portable Compressor operations by assembling, testing, and inspecting portable air compressors and performing shipping and receiving duties. As Operations Technician for ELGi Portable Compressors, you will be responsible for: Assembly, testing, and inspection portable air compressors using tools provided by ELGi Portable Compressors Receive shipments, examine shipment contents, and compare with records to ensure correct order fulfillment Prepare equipment for shipment including, but not limited to, preparing shipping documents, packaging, and staging Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, gantry crane, and other equipment to move parts to the appropriate locations. Loads and unloads freight trucks. Maintains the warehouse including, but not limited to, ensuring pathways and exits are clear of obstructions Other tasks as needed or assigned About You The Operations Technician role may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years' relevant experience Ability to operate a sit-down forklift Effective verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Keen attention to detail Team-oriented Strong sense of initiative
