Our current opening is for a Heavy Equipment Operator. What you'll do: View, grade, and sort material - we'll train you on the materials - and use equipment to load, unload, or distribute material and sort and segregate material efficiently using material handler, grapple, or front loader. What we offer: Great pay Paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, and 401(k) match Quality incentives Set schedule 7:30am - 4pm with overtime available on Saturdays Growth opportunities and promotions from within Challenging and rewarding work environment Who we are looking for: Ability to work in various environmetal conditions such as extreme heat or cold, dusty, dirty and/or wet conditions, equipment is enclosed with working heat and AC Facilitates a safe work environment Work quickly and efficiently to meet department and company golas Facilitates communication with yard Supervisor and co-workers as necessary Physical Demands: Walk/Move on flat surfaces, equipment and rugged outdoor terrain Climb ladders and stairs Lift up to 75 pounds Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to get to low lying and underneath equipment and machines Use fine motor grasping skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate tools and may use repetitive motions of the fingers, hand and wrist in doing so Perform tasks that require both close vision and distance vision proficiency Work in outdoor weather conditions Wear any and all Personal Protective Equipment required to perform the task in a safe and effective manner Our Mission & Vision We are recognized as an industry leader and are a highly regarded scrap metal recycling and management company by both our scrap suppliers and consumers.
