* COOK * Become part of the cook team for a Hawaii-owned franchise! The Cook is responsible for preparing all food orders within a timely manner and according to guest special request and our recipes. You will learn to ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation through the following cooking techniques: grilling, deep frying, baking, broiling, and steaming. Responsibilities also include the set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area before, during, and after every shift. QUALIFICATIONS :-High school diploma or GED; or equivalent.-Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.-Cooks food items by grilling, deep frying, baking, broiling, and steaming.-Ensure that all items are prepared to specifications.-Maintain individual prep sheets daily.-Ensure area is clean and in orderly fashion at the end of your shift.-Follow daily checklists and maintain responsibilities regularly.-Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs. COMPENSATION :- $17-19 per hour + plenty of opportunities for overtime. Wage negotiable dependent on experience and/or overall personal characteristics. This is a full time position that includes healthcare benefits.-Also includes 50% off employee meals during shifts and 35% discount in restaurant when not working. INTERVIEW PROCESS : 2 interviews total: 1st interview will be via Video Call; 2nd interview will be in-person at the restaurant.
