Job Details: Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Circulator Location: VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) UD Division, University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 Schedule: Full time Requirements & Skills: Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associates Degree or Diploma from a National League for Nurses (NLN) accredited program. Have been actively practicing as a registered nurse in an acute or long-term setting for at least the last two years. Must possess the technical and operational knowledge and clinical skills to function as a circulating and scrub nurse in all the Be capable of providing complex and comprehensive nursing care for adult medical and surgical Have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: Providing caring for adult and geriatric veterans during the perioperative Stocking operating rooms with sterile surgical equipment, linens, and Developing and implementing nursing care plans for surgical Assisting surgeons during surgical Applying sterile techniques in handling medical instruments and equipment pre-, during, and post-surgery. Collaborating with surgical teams and other medical professionals on patient medication and post-surgery care.
