Summary/Objective The Accounting Specialist is responsible for performing accounting related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Pods to ensure correct payments to clients, medical providers, and venders. This position carries out responsibilities in the areas of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ensure all vendor invoices are entered into the accounting system; Fulfill firm check requests to court services. Provide support to the firm by processing accounts receivable checks. Process Social Security fees; track incoming amounts, confirm employee referral fee, enter into accounting system Process employee expense reports. Process firm referral fees; track incoming amounts, enter into accounting system. Request and track W-9 forms from all venders and medical providers. Generate and maintain department scorecards.
