The Social Services Program Manager is a full-time, exempt employee position. The Program Manager provides supervision and capacity building to a diverse team of social service professionals with the goal of providing excellent case management services to Refugees, Asylees, and Special Immigrant Visa holders who (1) have been in the U.S. five years or less and (2) are experiencing social/physical/economic barriers. Include providing oversight for the newly created youth mentoring program for refugee teens. Minimal direct service interventions. This position reports to the IISMO Executive Director. Duties/Responsibilities Maintain local oversight of IISMO's Preferred Community and Youth Mentor programs. Provide direct supervision to program staff and volunteers to support program initiatives. Collaborate closely with the other department's staff to assist in creating synergy to support client self-sufficiency goals. Complete all associated grant reporting and lead quality assurance efforts to maintain program fidelity. Ensure adherence to program guidelines and provide reports and follow-ups according to required deadlines. Develop and maintain strategies to ensure continuity of care for enrolled clients. Ensure Confidentiality of all client records. Oversee the design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of the applicable programs, products and services. Represent the organization publicly Where applicable, participate in fundraising planning, implementation, and evaluation, including resource requirements and identification of potential funding sources, and related grant-writing. Manage grants in an effective manner to allow for timely and accurate reporting for each grant. Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development of departmental staff. Organize workflows, set staff work goals, develop productivity standards, and appropriately delegate responsibilities to staff to achieve the overall organizational mission and program objectives. Prepare staff performance evaluations relative to the communicated performance objectives and provide appropriate feedback to each staff person in a constructive manner. Contribute to an environment that fosters the organization's mission, teamwork, effective communication, responsiveness, service to the clients and service to the community. Performed appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to prioritize, effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, and take ownership of work. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team as necessary. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers. Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information. Must be meticulous, but able to maintain a balanced perspective in rapidly changing business circumstances. Ability to work productively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for differences. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
