Sheet Metal Fabricator Climate Guys is a family-owned business providing services to the Eastern Michigan area since 2010. We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Coordinator/Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. This position requires someone who is a self-driver with strong administrative skills who can spot problems and find solutions, someone who holds themselves accountable for a high-quality work product. If this sounds like you then we'd like you to apply Schedule : Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with some overtime Compensation: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, 3 Personal Days, Retirement plan with company match, and more Primary Job Function : Responsible for ensuring all jobs scheduled for the next day have all material and equipment pulled. Track material returns by job and return to stock. Responsible for all materials, supplies, etc. that leave the shop have been properly filled out on a material sheet. List all overstocked items and give to Installation Coordinator for return to vendor. Check and put away stock orders. Maintain shop and yard in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist Installers in loading and unloading vans. Fabricate and assemble custom sheet metal products and equipment, such as ductwork, plenums, fire dampers, and diffusers. Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license Insurable by company insurance carrier Basic safety knowledge of tools and surroundings Safe use of ladders Unloading/loading of trucks and in warehouse Be able to carry 100 pounds unassisted. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude. Prior experience in custom sheet metal fabrication Previous experience using plasma cutters is preferred but not required, punch presses, lasers, and/or press brakes Knowledge and use of Plasma Table Ability to work from drawings, submittals, and specifications. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Able to apply shop mathematics and layout techniques Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to work independently Safety conscious, dependable, and contribute to our positive environment and culture **NO PHONE CALLS OR IN OFFICE INQUIRIES ABOUT THIS POSITION.
