Also, responsible for adhering to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) that are in effect to assure the quality and quantity of product produced plus maintain a professional and team oriented behavior and attitude.Essential Functions: Stock and supply the proper raw materials (boxes, cartons, cores, roll stock, etc.) to the appropriate machines. Determine raw material needs by reading job tickets. Remove finished products to the designated area (shipping) using a hand jack. Ensures the work conducted within the production area is performed in a safe and efficient manner. Any unsafe work conditions are addressed immediately. Ensures adherence to all quality control processes and procedures and actively supports the company's internal audit program. Notifies supervisor and other personnel of production problems, and assists in identifying and correcting these problems. Ability to interact in a dynamic team environment with a positive attitude. Ability to operate powered industrial equipment. Skills and Experience Required: Individuals must be able to monitor processes, materials, and equipment. Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This implies good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills. Individual must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people in a wide variety of settings, possessing strong communication skills, maintaining flexibility, objectivity and a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Participation and support of 5S initiatives and activities. Active involvement in Phenix's Company mission statement, and core values. High school diploma / GED / or equivalent. Individual should possess basic math and computer skills. Physical and Other Requirements: This job is performed indoors in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Job tasks are performed in close proximity to other people and include exposure to strobe lights, sounds and noise levels that could be distracting. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend or crouch. The employee must frequently stand, walk, talk, and occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds . Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include ability to hear alarms and other sensors in a factory environment. Requires use of hands to handle, control or feel objects and operate tools and controls.
