At Little Stars Therapy Services, we provide our clients with access to Applied Behavior Analysis Services, Speech and Language Pathology Services, parent consultation, and community outreach services. Our dedicated healthcare professionals provide evidence-based interventions in a fun and engaging family-centered environment. In 2018, Little Stars Therapy Services opened its doors to clients in the city of Wichita. The Behavior Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. The following are essential duties and other responsibilities of a Behavior Technician: Implement goals from Individualized Treatment Plans created for each client, written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Autism Specialist. Record data on clients performance of the different targeted goals, as well as recording maladaptive behaviors that the client is displaying during the sessions. Daily completion of billing notes in Catalyst. Daily input of hours worked in Isolved. Meet or exceed billable hour requirement per billable day, 5.7 billable hours per day. Willing to work occasional Saturdays for needed make-up sessions if not scheduled during the week. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Communicate with staff members and supervisors about client needs and treatment ideas. Flexibility to cover in other classrooms during non-billable time or in the case of cancellations. Maintain RBT audit logs to ensure that 5% of your billable hours are being supervised by your assigned BCBA per the BACB guidelines. Maintain client confidentiality and abide by HIPPA laws. Utilize safe and appropriate handling and guidance procedures when working with clients. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. Collaborate with a treatment team including clients, parents and caregivers, and outside professionals. Keep up to date technically by attending required training. Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties given by assigned Supervisor and Lead. Why Join Our Team?
