Kimberton Whole Foods in Ottsville is growing! Now hiring a career-minded, full-time Perishable Foods Team Member. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. Please note: Kimberton Whole Foods does not hire seasonally or for summer work. Availability: Availability to work a combination of opening and closing shifts is needed for this position. One weekend shift each week is required. Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older. Receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, bakery and specialty products. Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands. Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis. Working in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department. Understands KWF inventory management practices. Assist in other areas of the store as needed. Key Attributes: Good communication skills: oral and written. Motivated to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced work environment. Able to be on your feet for 8 hours and lift 50+ lbs. Climate ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
