The Automotive Components Division of Windsor Mold Group is a full service supplier of interior and exterior injection molded plastic components and assemblies, providing innovative solutions for automotive plastics applications to original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers. We offer a great work environment offering industry-competitive pay and benefits.Our Emrick Plastics facility in Windsor, ON currently has an opening for a Quality Technician. The Quality Technician performs a wide variety of quality functions that require a thorough knowledge of automotive manufacturing procedures and practices. Supports manufacturing, quality engineering and in-coming suppliers to ensure adherence to customer requirements. Works directly with in-coming suppliers, monitors and reports performance.The ideal candidate for this position is team-focused with excellent communication skills and would be responsible for the following:• Perform capability analysis, gauge R&R studies and maintain the quality system requirements to met QMS requirements.• Perform Quality, Process and Manufacturing audits, report results and assist teams in the development of QMS continuous improvement activities• Maintain control of non-conforming material process to include hold area, rework product and material requiring safe launch inspection.• Support containment activities such as sorting as a result of customer concern including preparing quality alert documents and developing the inspection criteria and deliver training when requirements.• Perform SPC inspection where required by control plan.
