CPC is seeking candidates for our Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) Coach. Benefits include... New hire incentive payment of one thousand five hundred dollars, paid in two installments. Eligibility for health, paid dental, and paid vision coverage. 401(k) plan, with 3% match. Paid time off, sick time, and vacation time. 10 company-paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays. Tuition Reimbursement. Summers off with benefit premiums paid. (Teacher roles only.) Ability to work from home 5 days per month (6 months from start date - restrictions apply depending on the position) Pay differential for bilingual staff. Summary : The PBIS Coach supports the development of young children and their families by creating collaborative relationships with teachers that promote sustainable growth in necessary skills, attitudes, and knowledge, while supporting teachers and building on their strengths to improve teaching practices. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Observe teaching staff using the PBIS observation tools: Inventory of Practice (IOP), Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT), The Pyramid Infant, and Toddler Observation Scale (TPITOS) Set professional development goals (PD) with teachers based on observations and develop an Inventory of Practice (IOP) action plan. Complete IOP at least twice yearly for each teacher participating in coaching and maintain PD and IOP action plan files. Use Practice-Based Coaching to provide intensive coaching using pyramid model practices with classroom teachers. Collaborate with Education Coordinators to coordinate ongoing professional development of teachers involved in PBIS coaching. Complete ongoing documentation of support services provided to teaching staff and review Behavior Incident Report (BIR) data for children bi-weekly. Assist in the development of individual behavior plans and attend meetings with families as needed. Support facilitation of Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children (PTR-YC) process. Develop PBIS materials for classroom and home use. Create and deliver PBIS and PATHS trainings for ECE teams including training for new team members. EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field. Minimum one to two years related experience and/or training with young children required. PA PBS Facilitator preferred. EOE This position requires proof of COVID vaccination or approved exemption.
