J o b Su mm a ry: The Maintenance Specialist assists in maintaining the cleanliness and operating condition of all parish buildings and equipment and completes simple repairs. Utilizes knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or heating and cooling skills in performing assignments. The Maintenance Specialist is to accomplish this by adhering to the parish and school core values and so assist in accomplishing its purpose and promise. Ess en t i a l J o b Duti e s : Maintain, repair, clean, and service all equipment, fixtures, buildings, and properties. Occasionally set up rooms for events in the parish activity center. Assist with seasonal decorations in the church, parish activity center, and school. Assist with keeping the parish grounds clean (picking up debris, pressure washing, maintaining floor mats, and other cleaning tasks). Must be able to lift 80 pounds, and be comfortable climbing ladders and operating common hand and power t ools.
