POSITION SUMMARY: AEVEX Aerospace is seeking a mid to senior level full-time employee to fill a SUAS Field Service Representative position. The Field Service Representative will be responsible for supporting Aircraft mission systems integration, wiring of electrical components and fabrication of various electronic enclosures. Essential Functions: Plan and perform electrical engineering research, design development and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications. Supporting aircraft mission systems integration Electrical Engineering support Cable building, wire stripping and crimping, soldering, installation of avionics equipment Ability to use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools Analyze data and production reports Machining and tooling Operate CNC machine and other fabrication machines Ability to work with hand tools and power tools Maintenance and upkeep of machines and tools Soldering Knowledge of Mil-Spec and Avionics tooling Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, drawings and schematics Maintaining work area for daily operations and cleanliness Qualifications and Education: Associates or Bachelor's in Engineering or applicable technical fiel d 5 + years prior experience Detail oriented and capable with working in a team environment Hold a current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI within 6 months Job may require up to 2 5% travel throughout the year to CONUS and or OCONUS locations AEVEX provides a full suite of comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k)-retirement plan, comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life insurance group coverage with a portion of the premiums paid by the company, professional development funds, and an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) with counseling, legal help, child and elder care support, among other benefits.
