Job Description Job Title : Cloud Operations Lead Summary : We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Lead with experience in Microsoft Azure to lead our cloud operations team. As the Cloud Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the daily management, optimization, and troubleshooting of our cloud infrastructure. Wage Type : Salaried Organizational Structure: Reports to: CTO Provides guidance to other technical team members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily. Lead and manage a team of cloud operations engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure. Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues in the cloud environment. Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement new cloud infrastructure solutions. Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement cloud security and compliance policies. Manage cloud infrastructure budgets and track spending to ensure cost efficiency. Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Required Knowledge/Skills: 5+ years of experience managing cloud operations in a production environment, with at least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure. Experience managing and leading a team of cloud operations engineers. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance. Experience with cloud security and compliance. Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Desired Experiences : Background or familiarity with financial/banking systems and the associated regulatory requirements Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Experience working in a start-up or rapidly growing organization. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure DevOps Engineer. Talent: Strong project management and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated individual that is goal oriented, organized, and analytical and can bring a positive impact to our organization. Energetic, resourceful, and appropriate work intensity to get the work done. Strong people acumen and relationship skills; Naturally pre-disposed to quickly establish positive personal and professional relationship. Other : Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must be able to lift to 20 pounds.
