Transwest is seeking a Porter for the Brighton location. As a Porter for Transwest, you will be moving heavy duty trucks around the lot and picking up and delivering to customers. All driving will consist of local runs to and from customers and our shop. (Board) ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct report to Service Advisors Deliver trucks to customers Pick-up trucks from customers Drive customer and stock vehicles around company property Perform minor detail work on vehicles including curtesy windshield and wiper service Greet customers who enter the location Answer service calls and provide excellent customer service Create and close out Repair Orders (RO) Report any mechanical issues Other duties as assigned to help out around the shop Assist with Uptime updates as needed. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Requires frequent sitting and standing Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch Able to lift 50lbs. consistently and up to 75lbs. occasionally Normal range hearing and vision Required manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input May be required to operate equipment such as a forklift or manual pallet jack in a safe manner at all times REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High school diploma or equivalent Valid Commercial Driver's License MVR in good standing Professional and courteous demeanor Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening 0
