Area Manager Maxx Fitness is currently looking for fun, smart and passionate leaders to join our rapidly growing fitness franchise! If you are: A passionate, positive and detail oriented person that can talk to anyone Someone who would enjoy leading a team that provides a world class fitness experience Previous management experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and super friendly personality Passion for fitness Team player Looking for successful and motivated people who what to improve themselves and their career As an Area Manager you will lead a dynamic team that positively affects the lives of our employees and members on a daily basis! You will help to manage, train and develop the staff in your region. Key Focus Areas Team performance and effectiveness Member satisfaction and retention Membership sales Profit and loss management and financial results Minimum Requirements Required Skills and Experience 5 years of management experience in a sales/revenue generation environment, including direct experience in profit and loss management and people management Fitness club management experience not required Operate under the Regional Manager and work in different area health clubs as needed. Physical demands include ability to regularly walk through all areas of the club, climbing stairs (where applicable), and bending and lifting (e.g., picking up towels, restacking of weights, moving of equipment as necessary) Must be able to work at least 50 hours per week, or other hours necessitated by business need BA or BS degree (preferred) Job Competencies Required To successfully perform in the role, the Area Manager must be able to show demonstrated proficiency in the following leadership competency areas: Ability to develop a high performing team Ability to achieve measurable results Ability to create an environment of mutual respect, trust and accountability In addition, the Area Manager must be able to show demonstrated proficiency in the following job specific competency areas: Ability to drive membership sales Ability to control payroll costs Ability to prevent and resolve conflict Ability to deliver a high level of customer service Ability to plan and organize the work necessary to run a successful club If you share our passion for fitness and serving others, be part of a winning team. 0 Job Posted by ApplicantPro
