Flexible Endoscope Repair Technician SIS is currently looking for an experienced Flexible Endoscope Repair Technician. The Flexible Endoscope Repair Technician performs repairs on flexible endoscopes. The Flexible Endoscope Repair Technician requires a high level of flexible endoscope knowledge and related instrument knowledge, as well as repair experience and expertise, ensuring consistent high-quality and timely repairs. The Flexible Endoscope Repair Technician assesses customer's devices, evaluates problems, and executes repairs. He/She takes ownership of responsibilities and acts proactively, ensuring the highest quality customer experience . Key Accountabilities: Evaluate, troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, repair and inspect all models of flexible endoscopes to ensure proper function Inspect and perform repair tasks on complex service orders High-level of knowledge on proper repair methods Assess the quality and productivity of repair process, identify and implement process improvements Research, communicate and assist in resolving repair or process issues Accurately complete all evaluation, estimate and quality control paperwork in a timely manner Regularly communicate anticipated repair completion dates Effectively perform multiple endoscope repair tasks with no errors Consistently and effectively meet or exceed repair deadlines Conduct and support process audits to maintain and improve quality standards Actively participate in continued education and training Other duties as assigned Key Competencies: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of three years of experience as an endoscope repair technician, or a minimum of five years of experience as a lead technician in a production/manufacturing environment required Proficient knowledge of production techniques In depth knowledge of quality concepts and quality improvement techniques is desired. Effective verbal communication skills are essential Leadership skills Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are preferred Motivated and positive attitude Time management and organization skills are a must Must be able to work overtime as needed Additional Information: SIS is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer.
