Do you have a minimum of 5 or more years working in a HR management role? Then we want to meet you!!My Independence at Home ("MYIAH"), an award-winning home care agency based in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a full-time HR Manager to join our dynamic office team.Your responsibilities would include: Reviews, tracks, and documents in HHA exchange Caregiver compliance (e.g., Background Check, Application, Clearances, Test Scores, Medical documentation, etc.) Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Supports Recruitment Manager with New Employee Orientations, when needed. Manages onboarding to hire process and coordinates start dates with Director of Business Development Performs routine tasks required to administer HR and provides daily employee support. Ensure benefits eligibility at it relates to ACA is tracked in HRIS. Manages annual reporting, included EEO-1 Reporting and ACA Reporting Supports benefit administration and annual renewal process, including benefit compliance communications. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and supports with documentation of employee disciplinary meetings and terminations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Supervision of HR Staff Performs other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Verbal and written communication skills with a positive, caring attitude Organizational skills and attention to detail Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines consistently. Problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems, preferrable iSolved and Paylocity. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.*My Independence at Home is committed the safety of our employees. During the COVID pandemic the full-time position will require the employee to be onsite 2-3 days per week until full reopening of the office.
