Responsibilities: The Data Analyst will support Barrow Wise's Langley Air Force project and perform the following duties: Work with the Data Quality Manager, Resource Management Office Flight Commander, Group Practice Managers, MTF commanders, or others as required to identify analytical requirements Gather data from various sources, i.e., CHCS, M2, and BDQAS, for compilation and analysis Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining Create graphic and slide presentations as required Identify data quality problems and assist in developing training plans Participate in teleconferences, committees, functions, and other meetings as directed, providing relevant and timely information to these groups and assisting with decision making and process improvement Participate in data quality initiatives designed to enhance MTF services Perform other duties as assigned An Ideal Candidate has: US Citizenship (Eligible for a Secret Clearance) Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) Minimum of one-year data analysis experience supporting the federal government Knowledge of medical terminology and administration is preferable Knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent written communication skills to create accurate documentation and presentations IAW requirements Excellent ability to synthesize data from various sources and make an appropriate analysis Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC offers an ethical, challenging, diverse, and rewarding experience.
