Pacifica is founding a Song Leading program this year and seeks a part-time coach. The successful candidate will be a highly trained dancer, particularly in jazz and hip-hop motifs, with a background in education, and a passion for mentoring high school age girls of all abilities and experience levels.In the fall semester, the program will host practice three days per week from 7:00 - 8:00 AM and one Friday afternoons from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The first performance will be in January during Pacifica's homecoming week, entitled "Wedge Week", with potential performances at Pacifica's volleyball games and other events throughout the spring semester.In the 2022-2023 school year, the Song Leading team will expand to perform at more athletic games, as well as at other Pacifica sponsored events.
