SUMMARY This role will help ensure Champion Homes effectively deploys updates to production systems which resolve issues, enable new technical and functional capabilities, and does so while adhering to control requirements and defined maintenance schedules. The role involves collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to analyze change requests, reviewing proposed changes in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, overseeing the approval process of change requests and organizing changes into monthly and quarterly releases. They will also review failed changes and look for opportunities to improve change and release success. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with a strong understanding of quality assurance best practices, including extensive experience with developing and executing test scenarios for company-wide Tier 1 and cloud-based enterprise applications, reports/dashboards and integrations / middleware tools. They will also have experience with automated test tools and the process of migrating manual test scenarios to automated regression tests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees and coordinates Change and Release Management and ensures internal control objectives are accomplished Manages monthly/quarterly release processes; communicate release details and schedules to the Business and Technical teams as required Deals with release package acceptance including business sign-off Maintains and coordinates the schedule of release deployments of applications across various environments Coordinates the code and package deployment activities within multiple environments across the enterprise Participate on a team of internal subject matter experts outside consultants and system integrators Engages and coordinates with IT leadership and stakeholders on their involvement updates and status checks during implementations Plans directs and guides release processes and deliverables are achieved on time while meeting Release planning and compliance objectives Conducts Release Readiness Reviews and Business Go-No Go Reviews as part of Change Advisory Board meetings and project milestone checkpoints Ensures completion of project deliverable reviews and approves project deliverables as part of Change Advisory Board readiness procedures Educates business and IT stakeholders on the company's Change and Release Management processes Contributes to change request risk assessments and development of mitigation action plans Develops and maintains strong partnership internal and external stakeholders to ensure C&R requirements are followed and control requirements fulfilled Works with business and IT project teams to develop testing plan scenarios for more complex unit, process, function, integration and acceptance testing: Validate that business analysts and business partners translate requirements into detailed test plans, scripts, and data cases to facilitate testing and validate readiness for production Monitor and facilitate business acceptance testing as part of CABs to include: create required documentation develop and communicate test schedule(s) monitor tester participation log / report all identified issues Coordinate with project teams on training programs to ensure preparedness for new technology and/or application solutions delivered Develop relationships with IT teams and business/clients to ensure that requirements, specifications, and test plans are understood REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study and 6-10 years' combined experience in managing change/release processes, testing software systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience leading/managing change and release cycles, including monthly/quarterly vendor patch cycles, for Oracle Fusion Cloud. Experience planning, leading and participating in automated and manual testing activities within a Oracle Fusion Cloud environment. Team leader or small-team supervisory experience a plus Technical Knowledge and Skills Experience with software code repositories and package migration tools. Background in software development and enterprise applications change and release management. Knowledge and experience managing Change and Release processes in alignment with ITIL practices. Strong project management skills and experience. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a results-oriented environment and continue to deliver quality service. Willingness and ability to make timely decisions, exhibiting sound and accurate judgment. Ability to support and explain reasoning for decisions and include appropriate people in the decision-making process. Personal Characteristics Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to communicate with all levels, ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, write clearly and informatively in various formats. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks. Applicable Technical Skills ITIL v3 / v4 Change and Release Management Cloud ERP patching and upgrades Oracle Fusion Cloud required Manufacturing industry experience a plus PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ITIL v3/v4 Certification in Change and Release Management Working knowledge of SDLC, change management lifecycle, and Knowledge of good documentation practices and developing release notes WORK LOCATION AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Willingness to travel to regional business offices, manufacturing facilities, and other locations as required - Up to 25% travel Remote work is acceptable with periodic travel to core locations for engagement and interaction with key stakeholders and leadership This position description is not intended to be a complete list of all responsibilities, duties or skills required for the job and is subject to review and change at any time, with or without notice, in accordance with the needs of Champion Homes.
