Hawaii Mainland Administrators, LLC ( HMA, LLC ) is seeking a full time BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE for our Tempe, AZ location. The prospective candidate will need excellent oral and written communications. They should have the ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor while working under pressure self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, detail oriented, strong analytical ability. Education Required Associates Degree or Equivalent/Relevant Work Experience Experience Required 2 years Managed Healthcare experience Job Purpose The Network contractor builds and maintains PPO network contracts with requested Healthcare Providers. Representative also works with hospitals, physicians, and various ancillary providers in the development of the provider network. The PPO Networks main focus is to have contracted providers within 20 miles of every member in the country. Main Duties and Responsibilities Negotiation of legal contractual language and financial compensation arrangements with providers Potential growth of networks through on-site visits with hospital administrators and physicians and provision of educational in-services to hospital staff and physician office staff Develop specific areas as requested by clients, account services, and management Work with Information Technology to get provider data in our system Production and utilization of various reports
