ENVISION Home Health has immediate openings for per diem (part-time to full-time available) Home Health Aides to perform home health visits for our St. Charles, Missouri office. This office services clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout St. Charles, St. Louis, Lincoln, Warren, Franklin Jefferson and Montgomery counties. Training is available, previous experience in healthcare preferred. MAIN FUNCTION: To provide personal care, comfort measures, and environmental services in the patient's home as outlined in the Home Health Aide Care Plan. Home Health Aide / Home Health Visits Responsibilities: Provides direct and indirect care to the patients in the home setting, as contained in the written assignment on the Home Health Aide Care Plan and as assigned by the Registered Nurse, or appropriate therapy personnel. Personal care duties include assistance in: Bathing in bed, tub or shower Care of hair: shampoo Shaving Care of the teeth and mouth Care of nails: cleaning and filing only (no cutting) Toileting: bed pan, commode or toilet Dressing Physical Transfer Walking/Ambulation Marketing k. Empties and measures urinary catheters, provide Utilizes safety measures in provision of care.
