Wagner Lumber Co. has immediate openings for PLC Controls Technicians at our facilities in New York State. The Wagner Companies are one of North America's largest hardwood lumber manufacturers, distributors, and exporters. This is an amazing opportunity to join a world class lumber company. PLC Controls Technician Responsibilities : Conducts, maintains, tests and repairs controls. Applies knowledge of PLC's and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled PLC support to all areas of manufacturing. Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems Writing and editing of PLC programs Responsible for identifying possible production problems Evaluate and implement process/product improvements Follow all safety guidelines, policies and procedures Traveling to our facilities in the Northeast Region PLC Controls Technician Qualifications: A 2 year degree/certificate in an affiliated program required. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting. Ability to travel, up to 80% in the Northeast Region Must have a valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent vehicles in your name PLC Controls Technician Pay and Benefits: Full Time Hours Full Plan of Benefits Competitive Pay ***Please refer to the "Full Job Description" button below to review our physical demands form prior to applying to this position.***
