Overview There are a variety of roles within this title such as Mechanics of different skill levels; Maintenance Mechanics, Mechanic assistants, Building Maintenance, Projects Mechanics and Electricians. Maintenance and Electronic/Electrical workers responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining and ensuring that the facility and its' equipment are running efficiently.While performing the duties the employee will regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. The employee must work with chemicals and solvents and have the ability to operate moving vehicles. Positions require standing or walking the entire shift, the use of stairs, and the use of PPE, which is required in all areas of the facility. (Not an all-inclusive list) Responsibilities These jobs are responsible for all plant maintenance operations to include maintenance and repair of all facilities and equipment, utilities operations, preventative maintenance, environmental systems, and plant refurbishment and renovations. Employees in these jobs operate industrial equipment and tools as a part of their daily duties. These jobs ensure that all plant equipment, mechanical systems, and electronic systems are operational and downtime is kept to a minimum. Qualifications Applicants must have prior experience in Stainless Steel TIG Welding and Oxy Acetylene Torch work. Applicants must be able to lift 70 lbs. or more. Applicants will work in various heights and use lifts frequently. This job also requires previous knowledge of installing. Previous knowledge of pipe fitting, basic fabrication skills and plasma cutting is a plus. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
