JOB SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: This person is a multi-skilled equipment operator who has the abilities to, and is fully skilled and qualified to operate (at various times on an as needed basis) either a continuous miner, roof bolter, shuttle car, ram car, mobile bridge carrier or scoop in a safe, productive and efficient manner. Additionally , this person may be required to perform non-equipment operator tasks and duties such as shoveling, building/maintaining ventilation controls, assisting in various maintenance and repair duties on mine equipment and other manual related tasks and duties as needed. Consequently , a review of each of these respective equipment operator and non-equipment operator Job Summaries Of Essential Duties is necessary to determine the varied scope and nature of the summary and essential duties and tasks associated with this position. These summaries follow this sheet. The Physical Requirements, Environmental Requirements and Sensory Requirements of this posting require that any applicant is willing to submit to a physical, including compliance with the company's drug testing procedures and policies. Conduct all work activities in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws and Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations. GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: The employee must be able to follow specific instructions while maintaining acceptable established standards of work performance and conduct, show the necessary and consistent energy, as well as acceptable mental and physical dexterity, for the satisfactory completion of the essential duties as summarized and defined. The employee must exhibit acceptable interpersonal skills and the continuous ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere. Must have current West Virginia Underground Black Hat Miner Certification Must have a minimum of 2 years of underground experience
