Description:
Responsible for preparing, coordinating, and installation of piping systems. Working closely with client representatives to ensure the quality compliance of each project. Plans, assigns, schedules, and supervises the work of skilled trades personnel on the installation of commercial/industrial plumbing and piping projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage Plumbing and Piping employees including scheduling and forecasting project labor. Construct, layout, or plan piping assemblies with respect to walls, structures, and other obstructions. Assembling, installing, altering, and repairing pipelines or pipe systems that convey water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases. Communicates with the design team to coordinate and utilize installation drawings. Construct various types of pipe joints for high or low-pressure systems, including threading, brazing, soldering, and welding. Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble a wide variety of articles including but not limited to; cast iron pipe and fittings, PVC/CPVC pipes and fittings, and Carbon Steel (Threaded & Welded), copper tubing, and copper soldering and brazing processes. Ensure accurate records on material and labor used. Additional duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Current UA member to work through Local 58 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Hall. Applicants are required to prove a minimum of 6 years of work experience. Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and isometric drawings. Applicants should know state and local building codes and hold the applicable license needed to perform these duties. Computer experience including MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Must have a Valid Driver's License with clean record BENEFITS: Job Type: Full-time. Pay: Current Foreman scale through Local 58.
