Plumbing Estimator Ivey Mechanical Company is seeking an experienced plumbing estimator to join our Fayetteville, North Carolina team. Project types include Government, Healthcare, Educational and Industrial. Summary: Reports to Pre-Construction Manager Review plans and specifications to thoroughly understand the plumbing scope Writes RFIs, develop list of value engineering ideas Prepare accurate estimate and proposal for plumbing portions of mechanical and plumbing bid Engage vendors and subs required to provide a complete estimate Budget projects using Architectural plans Meet with customers to provide overview of price Desired Skills include: Proficient using Trimble Auto bid on-screen software Proficient with Word and Excel Design Build experience Some field experience with in-depth knowledge of system installations Thorough knowledge of plumbing code - plumbing licenses a plus Solid understanding of a wide variety of plumbing systems, fixtures, materials and equipment Strong organizational skills and documentations Attention to details Ability to review 3-D CAD drawings Self-motivated and goal-oriented Ability to recognize and solve problems independently Insure vendor compliance with contract documents and engineering standards Evaluate vendor pricing Wage and Benefits: Up to $60,000 based on experience and abilities Vacation ( PPL ) 90 Days following initial hire date 40 hoursJanuary 1 following following initial 90 days period from date of hire 40 hoursJanuary 1 following 1st anniversary date of hire 80 hoursJanuary 1 following 5th anniversary date of hire 120 hours Health Insurance: Currently Administered through Blue Cross Blue Shield of MS Single coverage 81% of cost paid by Ivey MechanicalEE / Spouse 67% of cost paid by Ivey MechanicalEE / Children 68% of cost paid by Ivey MechanicalEE / Family 63% of cost paid by Ivey Mechanical Voluntary Benefits: DentalVisionLife - Ivey Mechanical pays for 1 times yearly salaryLong Term DisabilityShort Term DisabilityAFLAC ProductsLifelock Holidays: New Year's DayMemorial DayIndependence DayLabor DayThanksgivingChristmas Retirement: Ivey offers Merrill Lynch 401-K Plan matching 50% of the first 6% contribution Education Reimbursement as approved by Management Bonus Plan included as part of each completed successful project Ivey Mechanical Company is an AA/EEO Employer.
