Your Accountabilities: Plans, manages, organizes, and executes plant maintenance, facilities/building and process improvement projects, ensuring project scope, budget and timeline goals are met. Develops project scope, statement of work, and solicits vendors/contractors for project completion, ensuring budget goals are met. Manages and provides oversight on installation projects, working closely with the Maintenance Manager, related Plant Personnel and External Contractors/Vendors to ensure the project meets budget and timeline goals. Validates that installation project goals are met on every project. Analyzes floor and work space, using engineering best practices to ensure proper space utilization. Position Requirements: Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, and Electrical Engineering or a combination of equivalent course work and experience. Experience: 5+ years of progressive Maintenance Project Management within a heavy equipment manufacturing environment required. Certification(s): N/A Functional Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical background with the ability to apply engineering best practices to project details or equipment issues. Excellent planning, prioritization, organizing, and execution skills; ability to develop project scope/details and research, select and negotiate with contractors/vendors to meet budget and timelines. Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to details; solid analyzation, math and problem-solving skills; excellent follow through is also required. Excellent understanding of ISO/Quality Systems, Safety, Lean thinking, and 5S is also needed. Technology Aptitude/Skills : Strong mechanical/technical aptitude to provide direction during project installations or troubleshooting equipment; Strong PC skills; experience with AutoCAD and ERP systems needed. Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; will interact with vendors, contractors, and all levels of the organization to meet project expectations. Leadership/Behaviors : Natural leadership skills with a calm demeanor; innovative with excellent collaboration skills to lead projects, create enhancements, strong negotiating skills to work with contractors/vendors to meet project budget goals and can influence others to meet mutual goals; safety and quality minded. Other Important Information: Pay Programs: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise!- And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows! Reports To: Facility Engineering Manager Core Hours: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm; flexible to work in other shifts if needed Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends required; 45+ hours a week on average. Direct Reports : N/A; Works with other departments as needed. Travel: 10% Work Conditions: Office environment; heat in the winter, semi-controlled temperature in the summer, PPE, Metal tarsal steel-toed required, safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, moving mech equip., around welding, some lifting (30-50lb), etc. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
