This position will allow an opportunity to utilize your nursing skills within a unique behavioral health care setting working closely with the Psychiatrist/Medical Director, Clinical Director and Residential Program Manager. This position coordinates the internal and external delivery of medical-related services provided to Anew Treatment Center's clients. The Registered Nurse works closely with the clinical team, treating psychiatrist and external providers to ensure that orders are safely and accurately initiated, documented and delivered. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, self-leadership, exceptional communication skills and is exceptional at effective coordination of care. Minimum Qualifications Registered Nurse Experience in behavioral or mental health setting preferred. Experience with crisis-management and de-escalation techniques. Specific, required, current, and active licensure, registration, or certification must be maintained in good standing. Preferred candidates should have sound understanding of mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and milieu therapy. Proficient computer skills and ability use various software programs. Have a valid driver's license in good standing and auto insurance. Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed. Flexibility and adaptability in schedule are essential.
