Compute r Specialist : The Computer Specialists coordinate with the Foreman in developing and adjusting forecasts for contract, work task, and work team workloads. They support the processes to ensure materials are available to support mission priorit ies. They infrequently participate in formal and informal meetings to support planning, forecasting, and ordering . The C omputer Specialists provides minimal input to the Foreman and SM for status reporting and reviews. Required Qualifications : Minimum of bachelor degree in Computer Science/Programming, Computer/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical certifications. Current Security+ (Plus) certification compliant with ISO 17024 standards and US DoD direc tive 8140/8570.01 - M requirements. Knowledge of/in: computer operating systems and computer hardware; Microsoft Visual Studio; microprocessors and micro - controllers; data networking; analog/digital circuits; LCD/LED/TFT display architecture; printed circuit board design; assembly languages. Two years minimum work experience in: programming in C, C++, C#; using and programming microprocessors and micro - controllers; developing, modifying, and maintaining computer programs and software code; designing and impl ementing modifications to existing computer programs and software code; analyzing performance of existing computer programs and software code and taking action to correct deficiencies based on input from users and other stake holders; monitoring the operat ion of computer programs and responding to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and software coding; applying judgment in devising program logic and in selecting and adapting standard programming procedures; solving conventional programmin g problems; reviewing and analyzing detailed software program specifications; working independently under specified objectives; testing and documenting work; writing and maintaining operator instructions for computer programs.
