Supply Technician : The Supply Technician assists the SM and Foreman in developing and adjusting forecasts for contract materials, work task tools, and work team equipment. he Supply Technician participates in some formal and informal meetings to support planning, forecasting, ordering, and coordination . The Supply Technician provides inputs to the SM for status reporting and reviews for curr ent, completed, and known future projects and taskings. This includes Monthly Report inputs with relevant data such as material availability status, problems, and challenges. The Supply Technician ensures entries are based on current leadership driven mission priorities and scheduling constraints, are fully documented to be self -explanatory, and fully coordinated across the con tractor workforce and external customers associated with each task. The Supply Technician assists the Foreman and SM in maintaining a cost schedule and tracking expenditures . The Supply Technician manages material accountability, provides inputs on mission support activities for reports and reviews, and works closely with the SM and other staff on resource management tasks. Required Qualifications : Two years minimum work experience in/with: identifying and purchasing commodities and services; inventory control, management and storage of parts/materials; developing/mainta ining a database of acquisitions and of existing parts/materials; obtaining quotes/pricing/lead times from vendors/distributors for commodities/services; following up with vendors/distributors the status of acquisition orders; compiling/documenting/briefin g status of acquisition orders and existing stock levels; organizing/maintaining acquisition documentation; conducting research to find cost effective and/or suitable substitute solutions to preferred commodities/services being acquired; researching for pr oducts/services to meet minimally specified needs; determining stock levels of existing parts/materials and acquiring deficiencies; identifying/resolving acquisition discrepancies; and developing/maintaining bills of materials and parts listings; packing/s hipping/ordering/receiving commodities and services .
