Production Welders As a Production Welder at Lantech, you will be a member of a team that skillfully fabricates the steel components of our Stretch wrappers. Production welders at Lantech are tasked with using their metalworking expertise to lay the foundation on which our machines are built. Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do: As a Production Welder in Q-Semi, you will: Weld mild steel in order to fabricate all types of Lantech equipment Build stretch wrappers for domestic and international customers Load and unload fixtures to MIG weld different parts of the machines Push and pull carts Read blueprints and follow standardized work Work-based on takt time Drill and tap holes Backfill other cells as needed Machine Tool Operator As a Machine Tool Operator, you will be an integral part of our team producing our Lantech Stretch wrappers. You will be working with saws and drill presses that machine the necessary steel parts used to craft the Semi-Automatic stretch wrappers. These machines contribute directly to the supply line that moves essential goods around the country and the rest of the world. Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do: As a Machine Operator Lvl 1 - Saw at Lantech, you will: Be running a horizontal band saw and cutting material to a specific length. Use a drill press to drill and tap holes to the designated size. Read a tape measure. Follow standardized work to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. Order materials according to the "cut list". Load and unload carts to move parts. We are looking for someone who: Is able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch. Production Assembler As a Production Assembler at Lantech, you will be an important member of the team who will skillfully construct our stretch-wrapping machinery. Production Assemblers get to use their hands and minds to craft our machines, allowing them to directly contribute to the supply line that moves essential goods around the country and the rest of the world. Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do: As a Production Assembler in Q-Semi you will: Assemble mechanical and electrical components for the production of Lantech stretch-wrap machines. Build stretch wrappers for domestic and international customers. Follow standardized work and sheet orders to comply with specifications. Stand 9 hours per day. Occasionally by lifting loads up to 50 lbs. Work-based on Takt time. Safely use hand and power tools (i.e., wrenches and drills) Materials Presenter As a Materials Presenter Level 1 at Lantech, you will: Receive and verify components and fabricated materials from the receiving department (including stock rotation). Put boxes away according to their designated location Organize materials on grocery aisles Make sure location and numbers match based on the order sheet Guarantee production assemblers have their bins filled out with corresponding parts Assist in 5S responsibilities for Fab and component grocery areas Why Work for Us?
