Process Technician- Injection Molding

Description:
We are looking for an experienced Process Technician for our Tech Center where we do Try-outs and low volume production. Must have knowledge and experience with Injection molding up to 3500T. Day shift schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Must be available for overtime and to work weekends when necessary. Hourly rate of pay will be determined by experience and skill set. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for machine startups and shut downs Responsible for secondary equipment startups, making sure machines and all equipment are at optimum efficiency Troubleshoot mold, machine, and material problems and make adjustments as necessary Document any and all process changes per internal procedures. Document repairs as need on work orders requests for maintenance and tooling repairs as needed Train and mentor new and existing employees Ensure compliance with department work instructions, procedures, and standards Perform mold changes Operate injection molding machine, pull parts from mold and package as needed Ensures proper care of all equipment especially the managing and proper disposal of all purgings Operate overhead crane and hilo for mold and material movement Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations. Responsible for following all Company policies and procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by the department Manager.
