Girard Equipment, Inc. is a global leader in the manufacturer of safety and ancillary components for road, rail, intermodal, and offshore liquid transport tankers. The Company's products are primarily focused on pressure control devices and valves needed for the safe transportation of hazardous liquid chemicals. We are seeking technicians to work second and third shifts in the Wax Molding, Assembly, and coatings area of our Foundry. Technicians working in the wax phase of the investment casting process are responsible for producing and assembling wax patterns. Technicians working in the coatings area are responsible for creating the hard shell around the wax patterns which then becomes the mold in which molten metal is poured, forming stainless steel parts. Foundry employees have the opportunity to learn the entire process of investment casting. In order to be successful, candidates would need to be quality-focused, motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new things in order to be successful. Must be able to regularly lift, navigate through complex machinery, and demonstrate manual dexterity. We offer 401k, health, dental, vision, life and disability insurances. Second shift is 3:30 pm to 12:00 am and third shift is 12:00 am to 7:30 am.
