Salary $71,014 - $90,079 inclusive of location pay Grade: 21 The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc., is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Grants Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join our collaborative administrative team at a world class research institution. This position has responsibility across three entities, Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene (RFMH), New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI) and Columbia University (CU) Psychiatry.There is considerable interaction among the three organizations, therefore the complexity and dimensions of this position require outstanding skills and professionalism.This position will work within the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) and liaison with various investigators across the institute to provide pre-award support for grant applications, as well as additional administrative tasks.This position allows for up to 50% remote work. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include: Pre- and Post-award Administration Preparing budgets and budget justifications in preparation for grant application submissions Compiling and formatting applications to meet sponsor specifications and deadlines Working with OSP to ensure review of all application materials and timely submission of all documents Compiling and submitting to OSP, all documents required to facilitate the execution of subcontracts Maintaining up to date biosketches and other support materials for investigators Assisting Principal Investigators in the preparation of JIT requests, progress and final reports as per the sponsor's guidelines and deadlines Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of Sponsored Projects administration Expert organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic and complicated environment. Ability to work within financial systems. Proficiency in Excel. Bachelor's degree required. RFMH employees may be required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 depending on work location and must provide proof of vaccination. Individuals that are not vaccinated for COVID-19 are ineligible for appointment to positions that require vaccination. Fully vaccinated is defined as two (2) or more weeks since receiving either the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series (e.g., Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or the first and only dose of a single-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson [J&J]/Janssen).
