PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Conducts feasibility analysis and develops operational/promotional/inventory plans for new products recommended by manager that support and enhance existing customer/product base and collaborates with manager to execute plans.Prospects new projects through trade, industry, and customer sources for bidding opportunities specific to products and services promoted and sold by Unistrut Hawaii.Acts as liaison between the GC and Unistrut crew to confirm construction schedules, start dates, material lists, etc. to provide timely service for install projects. Ensure the project site is ready to receive Unistrut Hawaii's contracted scope of work and that site conditions are compliant with proposal terms so that work can commence without encumbrance. Submit change order proposal requests for additional/reduced work.Sources, builds and maintains positive customer/vendor relationships via information gleaned from trade publications, websites, public records, trade shows etc.Develops contact lists for current and new customers and maintains a regular communication schedule to build and sustain business relationships via phone, email and direct mail.Provides current and new customers with product and/or installation services information, price quotes/trends and other sales support activities to secure orders and develop future business opportunities.Collaborates and establishes with manager, records and reports of established customers, new contacts, product inventory, sales, pricing, jobs in progress and other related activities to enable analyses of product sales, customer base, scheduling, job costs, revenues, and accounts receivables.Assists the Inside Sales department with inquiries specific to products promoted and sold by the Unistrut department.Assists with the development of product literature and ensures appropriate and timely distribution to qualified prospects.Coordinates and may participate in product demos and trade shows. PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS: Skills/Knowledge: Math: Familiar with basic math skills to create spreadsheets calculating cost/sell/profit ratios. Familiar with basic geometry to calculate measurements for material takeoffs.Reading: Able to comprehend project documents and industry/manufacturer's technical data and standardsLicenses: Must have Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract. Education: Associates/Bachelor's Degree in business related studies preferred. Experience : Experience in business-to-business distribution and/or construction services to the Construction and Building Management Industries preferred. In lieu of Associates Degree, must have a Minimum of 2 years' experience within business-to-business distribution and/or construction services and Building Management Industries. Or Minimum 5-years' experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Or Equivalent combination of Education/Experience.
