Job Summar y The Tool Room Technician is responsible for assisting the preparation of dies, their components for set-up and the preparation of dies for repair. Job Duties Perform maintenance and repairs on dies. Operate manual and automatic toolroom equipment. Able to assist with mold maintenance with supervision. Basic knowledge of tooling parts and use. Utilize gauges, calipers, etc. Basic knowledge of operating manual Tool Room Equipment . Sets up and operates shop equipment including lathes and grinder to machine parts; verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications. Correctly troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and reassemble dies. Able to make minor repairs to die cast tooling with supervision. Introduction of trouble shooting die cast tooling problems in production. Requirements Team player with good attendance history Able to work overtime as driven by the workload Able to work without close supervision and ability to multi-task.
