Electrical Service Technician Position Summary: The Electrical Service Technician is a member of the Service Team and reports to the Controls Service Manager. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following for water purification and treatment systems and equipment: Key R es p o n s i b ili t i es: Troubleshoot electrical problems with water purification systems. This will include but not limited to, electrical panel components, motor control, including soft starts and VFD's, instrumentation, and calibration. A ss i s t s I nsta ll ati o n D e p a r t m e n t s t a f f i n c om m i ss i o ni n g and s t a r t - up o f n e w , ce n tr al w ater s y s t Liaises with service call center team to coordinate trouble call responses, ensuring minimum disruption to customer operations P r o v i d e s t h o r o u g h d oc u m e n t a t i on o f a l l w ork, p a rt s , a n d t i m e in a ccorda n ce w i t h S O P s Build panels and wire skids per electrical schematics and P&ID's and BOM's. Develops e f f e c t i v e, t r u s t ed w or k i n g r e l ati o ns hi p wi t h all cu s t o m ers, maximizing ongoing communications. Performs other duties, as assigned. Job Q u al i f i cati o ns: Minimum 3 y e a r s of e x p e r i e n ce in e q u i pme n t controls troubleshooting, pr e f erab l y i n commercial/industrial setting. S tr o n g e l e c tr i cal ability; a m e ch a n i cal a p t i t u d e; PLC programming skills a plus. Strong a b ili t y t o und e r s t a n d PLCs, i ns t r ume n t ati o n, and co n tr o l Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Good electrical construction skills, preferably from a commercial/industrial setting. Good understanding of the NEC.
