Moore's is seeking qualified interns to join our Operations Team at our corporate offices in Altavista, VA. We are hiring for multiple full-time, paid position over 9 weeks in Summer 2023 to gain hands-on experience in various areas of construction management, engineering, or business administration/managment. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of construction management. Responsibilities The intern's responsibilities will differ depending on departments hired in. These positions could be: Project Management Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering Business Administration/Management Responsibilities will be catered to the intern's desired experience Qualifications Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management Successful completion of two years of study in-major coursework Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset Desire to learn and grow Transportation and ability to commute to the Altavista Offices Great sense of humor Benefits Gain practical experience with modern technology Shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with successful construction professionals Gain practical experience with scheduling, design, administration, etc.
