T he Opportunity: We are looking for the right person to get in on the ground floor as a Store Manager and build our bench strength and operational mastery amongst the Crew. G row with us as we open 3 more locations in the next 24 months!!! Crumbl Crew members work the cookie-baking process from mixing dough all the way through decorating, packaging and delivering the world's most delicious, gourmet cookies into the hands of our raving fans! Who is the right person? Those that have experience in management (GMs/Managers, Assistant Managers/Assistant GMs) within the foodservice or QSR industry and can quickly get up to speed on our baking operations and support practices and be a leader. Maybe you feel you've hit a ceiling for growth? Maybe you don't like your current situation? The role of a Managing Crew Member is to serve , love , guide , and champion other Crew members in living CREW values while also running operations for one of the hottest new stores in Chicagoland. This is not your ordinary bakery or retail establishment, and so we aren't looking for the ordinary person, ordinary career path, or ordinary experience. This role is NOT for you if: You are not willing to be accountable for results and start working long weeks to build a future of professional and personal growth with financial rewards. You are uncomfortable with part of those results being the development and growth of people. You don't absolutely LOVE teenagers (age 15+) and young adults, their potential, and working side-by-side with them. You don't like making dough, baking, dressing, and decorating cookies. You don't like a pressure environment with a lot of moving parts and a HUGE customer demand. You don't like taking feedback and improvement suggestions from those younger than you and learning from them. You don't do well with keeping track of things, multi-tasking, and staying organized. You've never cleaned, scheduled, inventoried, ordered, or directly supported any of those functions. Oh, and one more thing. The customers. They LOVE our product (love! love! love!) and they care about our service. They come from everywhere and sometimes drive over an hour just to get some Crumbl Cookies! That puts BIG pressure on meeting the needs of long lines, fast-paced order fulfillment, and maintaining the cookie production process behind it to never run out.... Ever! Have we baked the picture well enough for you? If just the opposite of the above points describes you well, and you are ready to step up and lead an amazing Brand while building a mature, efficient operation , then this role is for YOU! To win (and win big) at this job, you MUST: Love working with teens and young adults. Be living CREW values already in your life. Have a vision bigger than just an efficient operation and making cookies. Have a detailed and organized skill set that will enable you to MASTER store operations including the production process, inventory, ordering, vendor management, logistics, basic tech for store iPads and computers, etc., scheduling, cleaning and maintenance, and all details of running the store that sells the world's best cookies. Have a sincere interest in baking - we make cookies (the BEST cookies)! Are willing to get to work TODAY and put in the time necessary to build a smooth operation that can later run with less of your involvement. As a Managing Crew Member, you will: Master the Crumbl Cookies brand guidelines that ensure the special Crumbl Cookies experience for each of our guests and raving fans. Learn everything as a baker, becoming skilled in the baking process and working as part of a team, supporting each other and having fun while making customers happy (You won't just manage, you will bake and support bakers!). Develop mad scheduling skills that allow us to plan seamless schedules that employees feel good about. Become an ordering and logistics extraordinaire.
