JOB PURPOSE : The driver will transport students across campus and to various local locations. DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES : Drives student passengers in 15 passenger vans around Carthage College Campus and to various local locations. DESCRIPTION OF NONESSENTIAL DUTIES : None. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : (To perform this job successful, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.) Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma. Must have valid driver's license, be able to pass background check, have great driving record, pass Carthage Safety Driving Courses to become a Carthage College approved driver. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with students, and college employees. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : (The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
