BMSS Advisors & CPAs is looking for a client-focused individual who values cultivating relationships to join ou r Assurance t eam. This role can work from any of our four locations (Hoover, downtown Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville) and/or has the remote-work option offered to all our professionals. Responsibilities: Manager level professionals conduct external and internal financial statement audits for our clients. This role will also include leadership of junior level staff on the engagement team, which could mean coaching and mentoring or hands-on training. Relationships are a critical cornerstone at BMSS, this role will be responsible for creating and cultivating relationships internally among the team and externally with the client. What are the requirements to be considered a qualified candidate? Must have at least a bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college/university MBA or MAcc is preferred but not required Minimum of 8 years in audit & assurance, preferable with exposure to a variety of industries Must have exceptional verbal and written communication About : BMSS is the 2nd largest Advisory & Certified Public Accounting firm in Alabama and was founded in 1991.
