Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Staff Speech Pathologist to the Rehabilitation team! Description: The selected candidate will perform examinations and treatments of individuals referred to Speech Therapy. Based on the examination, the speech language pathologist (SLP) organizes and constructs a treatment plan of care that is designed to restore function, prevent disability, and assist in the attainment of the patients maximum functional level. The written plan of care is expected to follow the required documentation standards set forth by regulating agencies such as the North Carolina Board for Speech Language Pathologist & Audiologist & CMS. Requirements: Mater's degree in Speech Language Pathologist Program or Master's degree in Communication Science and Disorders is required, annual certificate of licensure by the state of North Carolina, certificate of clinical competence in speech language pathology awarded by ASHA, and BLS certification. At least one (1) year clinical experience. Your Health, Our Passion!
