A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Lead Carpenter As a Lead Carpenter, you play an important role as the team leader of a crew of laborers. Leading by example, you work side by side with your team as you complete residential remodeling projects. Your experience in trade work proves valuable as you use your own tools to tackle everything from electrical to HVAC. A natural-born problem solver, you ably repair and replace plumbing components. Whether the day's tasks include framing, drywall installation, or carpentry, you and your team are up for the challenge! You take pride in determining the most efficient way to complete a job without sacrificing quality. On job sites, you make sure safety is a top priority, enforcing company policies as well as state and federal regulations. Your team relies on your guidance as you delegate tasks and provide clear instructions. Organized and focused, you use an app to aid in task management and maintain a work checklist. Keeping an eye on the big picture, you keep production moving at pace, completing jobs on schedule. Our construction manager appreciates your dependability as you help to manage up to 4 concurrent jobs. An excellent communicator, you provide status updates and inform them of any issues or additional work that may be required. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A Lead Carpenter 3+ years of experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to haul materials Willingness to provide your own tools Do you have the ability to lead a team and delegate tasks?
