East Side Plating is currently hiring for a Production Supervisor position. The Production Supervisor provides leadership to shift staff on multiple production lines with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach. Overall role is to communicate organizational needs, oversee performance, provide guidance, support, and manage relationship between staff and organization. Preferred qualities: Good communication skills Confident decision making Ability to act quickly Effective planning Eye for detail Ability to take ownership Duties and Responsibilities: Leads by example with great attendance and hold crew accountable to do the same. Focuses on and maintains productivity Is open to constructive criticism and willing to discuss, plan, and improve where needed Makes sure tasks are completed to closure Learns and retains new information on processes and parts Holds self-accountable and works to resolve issues so they don't reoccur Displays good judgement (knows when to stop and ask a question and when to proceed) Make recommendations to correct or improve quality issues as they arise Maintains a good working relationship and communication path to Planners and Manager Produces scheduled work efficiently. Adapts to changing demands (can do attitude) Resolves conflict, admits mistakes, displays commitment to teamwork, flexible, and open to new ideas Inspects to standards, but uses good judgment in making decisions on acceptable part quality Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement through suggestions/recommendations, preventative actions, communication, and teamwork East Side Plating offers a competitive wage with opportunities for increases in 6 months, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as PTO, paid holidays and a 401K plan.
