Atlantic Services Group is actively seeking qualified Service Writer/Business Manager applicants for its Auto Repair Division (Zoom). Duties and Requirements are as follows. Essential Duties: Organize and distribute the days' schedule to prepare for incoming guests and manage efficient workflow through the shop; assist shop manager in selling work needed to satisfy customer requests and maximize profitability Work with Shop Manager to create a 5-star experience for every customer to inspire trust and loyalty to ensure customer retention Manage customer satisfaction surveys and assist Shop Manager with customer-focused responses to low-star reviews, recognizing that constructive feedback is a form of valuable direct information from our customers and that negative reviews can be an opportunity for constant process improvements Assist the Shop Manager with the tactful management of high-expectation customers. Take ownership for the resolutions of customer service concerns Manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable process Manage all supply vendors to ensure product quality and pricing discounts are negotiated Establish process to ensure prompt payment from all customer types Ensure shop inventory controls are followed and physical inventory checks are performed Take ownership and expedite the well-organized preparation of information and paperwork throughout shop operations Ensure shop maintenance program is fully utilized to its full potential ensuring shop analytics and reporting continually improving shop process flow and productivity Work with Shop Manager to identify target customers. Initiate and track sales campaigns through effective mailing and internet promotions Develop service package pricing strategies both for individual and fleet customers Ensure website is maintained with mechanic job postings, service offerings and promotions Use effective advertisement in customer waiting area and at service desk check-in Work with Shop Manager to initiate an hourly labor rate structure including discounts that is competitive while achieving profitability goals Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner Must follow all company safety policies and procedures Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to our industry Requirements: Must possess proven experience in excel and word applications Must possess proven analytical and critical thinking skills Valid driver's license required Must successfully pass background checks Willing to work Saturday's when necessary Five plus years of automotive service department experience required Ability to multitask in a challenging environment Bilingual candidates a plus ASE certifications a plus Work Location: 2464 Chillum Road, Chillum, Maryland, 20782 Job Type: Full Time Salary: Commensurate with experience Benefits: 401(k) Dental Insurance Health Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance Schedule: Monday - Friday Saturday Availability
