Summary: Enhances employee health awareness and promotes new initiatives by implementing a wide variety of health and wellness programs that meet the needs of a diverse, dispersed workforce that may include but are not limited to disease management and behavior change programs for both the mind and body. Facilitating changes and/or additions to programs as needed that reflect the changing needs of the employees. Duties & Responsibilities: Implements all aspects of the employee wellness program including, program design, employee communications and program administration. Supports the wellness program through direct engagement and employee interaction by planning and coordinating annual health screen assessments, biometric screenings, internal physical activity challenges, external physical activity, community service activities (bike rides, breast cancer walks, runs, etc.) and other mental and financial programs targeted in the company's health and wellness strategy. Assists in the coordination, planning and delivery of seminars of monthly onsite meetings promoting employee healthy lifestyles and increased participation in the various Wellness Program initiatives. Coordinates the activities of the wellness program, its vendors, healthcare carriers and/or consultant as they pertain to delivering the Wellness programs. Provides engagement support for the wellness program at multiple locations. Being a motivated self-starter who will be able to manage multiple projects utilizing excellent time management, conflict resolution, and creative skills. Remains current on all new health/wellness research strategies of health/wellness promotion and applies such principles and tools. Actively learns about the culture, nature of the business to be able to perform more effectively Continually demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships utilizing tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity with all levels of the organization and members of other organizations. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, a Clinical or Health Related Field such as Exercise, Nutrition, Nursing, or Public Health Management 2-4 years with wellness or other benefits program design and implementation. Applied experience administering an Employee Wellness Program or similar healthcare Associate engagement and presentation experience is preferred. Experience managing vendor relationships desired. Experience as a project manager or a project management certification desired. Required to possess a valid and current Driver's License.
